A cold soup from southern Spain made with WV heirloom tomatoes emulsified with a Charleston Bread sourdough and a touch of garlic. Served cold and topped with crispy guanciale, marinated hard boiled egg, warm housemade croutons and drizzled with Ditrapano olive oil.
+ We will be balancing cold and hot temperatures with our balanced Carriage Trail Pale. Overly ripe local tomatoes have a wide spectrum of fruity elements. The dry and floral nature of our pale ale stands up to those flavors without getting in the way.
Large Scallops dusted with housemade blackening seasoning that includes fermented lime and garlic laid on top of a Zatarr-kissed lemon and tarragon orzo.
+ Our light and crisp Straight Kolsch Homie allow the subtle flavors of Zataar and fermented lime really shine.
Two thoughtfully chosen cheeses and sliced duck-belly prosciutto to wake up the palate and detox the liver.
+ Paired with Charlie West Coast IPA. The piney and citrus notes will stimulate the appetite and perfectly cut through the fatty and healthful cheese proteins.
Seasoned and charred local Zucchini with marinated cucumbers, kalamata olives, sweety drop peppers, fresh basil and feta cheese that is caramelized just before serving. Served with a crunchy slice of Charleston Bread baguette schmeared with calabrian chili butter. A non-traditional salad with a non-traditional beer pairing. This salad is both leafless and served warm.
+ The Kanawha Kettle Tangerine Sour highlights the acidic nature of balsamic vinaigrette and plays nicely with the fresh herbs that perfume this dense and satisfying “salad.”
WV pasture raised chicken thigh from Huffman Farms marinated in sesame paste, garlic confit, lemon juice, and honey seared hard with Moroccan spiced cauliflower. Finished with a light whipped Tahini-honey dressing.
+ The oaky complexity of our Barrel-Aged Weiz and Shine is the perfect accompaniment to the bitter-sweet dressing that chars as the chicken thigh develops a crust.
Light and crunchy canolis with a rich and sweet ice cream made in collaboration with Ellen's Ice cream is the perfect way to end a meal.
+ Only made more perfect by pairing with our Get Mea Cuppa Chicory Stout, a coffee stout brewed in collaboration with our friends at Mea Cuppa Coffee.
